August 20, 2016--Kaya Natin! Movement, together with Urban Poor Associates and Mu Sigma Phi Fratnerity, conducted a medical mission in Brgy. Muzon, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Brgy. Muzon is a relocation area established in 2013 for informal settlers in Manila. It is one of Kaya Natin's adopted communities in the depressed sites in San Jose del Monte. As good governance advocates, Kaya Natin believes that empowered citizenship begins at taking the initiative to step out of your comfort zone and seek those who need help in society.
Through this medical mission and Kaya Natin volunteers' initiatives, four hundred fifty (450) relocated patients were catered to and seven (7) boxes of medicines were donated to the local Barangay Health Center as well.
